Privacy Policy

TinyStyle cares deeply about the privacy and data security of children and families. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information. TinyStyle is intended for parents or guardians and does not allow children to create accounts directly.

Information We Collect

• Information you provide: child profiles, clothing information, outfits, try-on results, spending records, and notes.
• Photos and images: child photos and clothing images you import from your photo library or actively select for AI try-on.
• Device, iCloud, and subscription information: app version, an opaque App Store-signed app transaction identifier used for quota verification, subscription status, and StoreKit transaction records.
• Usage data: successful AI try-on counts and actions used for local statistics and quota management.

How We Use Information

• Local and iCloud storage: child profiles, clothing, photos, outfits, and try-on records stay on your device. When iCloud is available, they also sync across devices through your private iCloud database and use your iCloud storage.
• AI try-on: selected child photos and clothing images pass through TinyStyle's server proxy to a third-party AI image generation service, currently Alibaba Cloud Tongyi Wanxiang, only to generate the requested result.
• Image retention: uploaded photos are deleted from the server immediately after generation. Generated results remain available for display and download for up to 30 minutes, then are deleted automatically.
• Quota management: the Free lifetime quota follows the App Store account that downloaded the app and is verified by TinyStyle's server using an Apple-signed AppTransaction. Pro quota separately follows the verified App Store subscription transaction. Your iCloud, app-download, and Pro purchase accounts may differ.
• Product improvement: we may use de-identified statistics to improve the product, but we do not upload original photos for analysis.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data or child photos. We share only what is necessary with your consent, when required by law, or to protect the lawful rights and interests of users and the public.

Storage and Security

• Data is stored in the app's local sandbox and, when available, your private iCloud database.
• Network transfers use HTTPS and other encryption measures.
• The AI try-on server processes images only temporarily during generation. Photos are deleted immediately after generation and results are retained for no more than 30 minutes. Images are not used for model training, public display, or unrelated purposes.

Children's Privacy

TinyStyle is designed for parents of children aged 0–12. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 for marketing or disclosure to third parties. Features involving child photos require active parent action and permission.

Your Choices

• You can delete child profiles, clothing, photos, outfits, and try-on records in the app.
• You can manage photo library access in iOS Settings.
• Deletion cannot be undone. Please review carefully before deleting data.

Policy Updates

We may update this policy. The updated version will be provided in the app or on this page. Continued use of TinyStyle means you accept the updated policy.

Weather and Location (1.1)

When you choose your current location, the app requests location access while in use. Apple’s location services resolve the city and time zone, and WeatherKit provides the forecast for that location. When you search for a city manually, your search text is sent to Apple Maps services (MapKit), and the selected city’s coordinates are used to request WeatherKit. TinyStyle does not send these coordinates or searches to its own servers or upload child photos or clothing images for weather recommendations.

Weather recommendations match the weather tags on your saved outfits using rules on your device, for both Free and Pro users. The manually selected city’s name, coordinates, and time zone are saved only in local preferences and are not included in the app’s iCloud data sync. Current location coordinates are not written to the app’s persistent storage. Forecasts are cached only in memory and used for recommendations only within 30 minutes of retrieval and before any earlier expiry set by the provider. The app does not perform background location tracking or background weather monitoring.

You can turn off location access in iOS Settings and switch between a manually selected city and your current location on the weather page. Apple’s privacy notices apply to its handling of data for its location, maps, and weather services.
